I have rosacea and acne. My doctor recommended that I use this after applying differin. I was hestitant at first,...its summer..i didn't want to use this thick cream on my face. But I listened to my doctor and I'm so thankful now I did. My pre-rosacea and pre-acne skin is back. My face is so moist, with a glow and there is no breaking out and turning red. No doubt, a big part of this is due to the differin and the antibiotic but at least 25% is due to this miracle cream. I'm ditching my expensive kinerase cream for this big 'ol tub. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and my skin is improving in tone and appearance. I love it so much, I even use it during the day under my make-up. If you apply a really thin layer and wait for the cream to be absorbed, the make-up would hold. During the day, my face does get a little shiny but i just dab on alittle loose powder and it all goes away.
Of course, I do have pretty dry skin. If you have oily skin, you might want to consider just using this at night.

I really wanted this cream and the companion lotion to work for me. Sadly, upon application, this cream burned and continued to burn even after splashing with water. I had to get my cleanser out and wash my face a second time. I have dry, sensitive skin and have had huge problems finding lotions and creams to use on my facial skin. I have been through the gamit: Olay, Cetaphil, Sarna, Aveeno calming, Purpose, you name it, I feel I have tried it. Dove discontinued the only product I had success with as of late. I am currently using a specialty line and its ok, but gives me the occasional pimple and isn't the most cost effective either. Sigh...my quest moves onward.
My skin is very sensitive. It gets tight and dry, but is also very acne prone, and it peels. This made it difficult to find a moisturizer. This moisturizer is incredible. I used CeraVe's PM moisturizer day and night, which I love, but I needed more moisture. I found this CeraVe cream, and I use it all the time now. It soaks in immediately and does not leave a filmy or greasy feeling. What's crazy to me is that the more I used, the more my skin cleared up. My skin isn't dry and tight anymore, and it stopped breaking out. It feels soft and smooth.
I wander about barefoot a great deal of the time and my feet are very dry and flaky especially around the toes and heel. Started using this product at night or after taking a shower for the past week. I am amazed at how smooth my feet are now feeling, the dry skin is now becoming softer with the flaky areas now mostly gone. Am very happy with this product and will continue to use and will purchase it again.
Before buying this cream i was suffering from very dry skin. In the winter my skin tends to get dry and i had small white flaky spots all over my face. I have been using ceraVe for a week now and my skin is noticeably soft and smooth. I love this product and will buy more.
Use daily as body moisturizer. It is by far the best moisturizer that I have ever used. Use in combination with the moisturizing wash of the same brand.
Cera Ve moisturizing lotion was recommended to me by my dermatologist. It worked wonders on my arms and dry areas on my stomach. When I saw that it was available in a cream, I bought the jar because I knew it would last longer than the lotion. When I noticed how it made my skin soft and moist, I decided to try some on my wrinkled facial skin under my eyes. It noticeably tightened the skin. I now use it on other wrinkled areas of my face. Best of all, it more than adequately replaces Pacquin Plus that is no longer available.
This item is deceiving. When I first opened the container and used it, the moisturizer was stiff and pasty. It wasn't suitable for use at all. I hated it and wanted to return it. But then, in a few days it transformed itself (if you can believe it or not) to a smoother substance. I have no idea why this happened, but I am happy with it and use it daily. It is fragrance free, which I love and was the product's main selling point. It doesn't feel greasy, yet moistens my skin, so it feels supple to the touch. When I put it on, my skin feels tingly for a few seconds. It's a good buy for the money.
