I have bought several of these and will continue to use but after a year or two leaks develop and I have to buy another. Wish either that they were made better or that there is a money-back guarantee!

It seems people have a love/hate relationship with the Chillow. I really think it's up to the individual on how well it will work. If your body temp is normally very high, it will obviously take more to cool you. If you're just a little bit hot, you will cool down quicker. That being said, I bought this when I was pregnant and in my 3rd trimester. Trying to sleep is impossible once you get really big and being hot didn't help. The Chillow wasn't a miracle worker but it helped cool me long enough to fall asleep. When I woke in the middle of the night, I'd just throw it on the floor. My husband used it for awhile too and it was just more of a hassle for him because it moved around and would get kinda bunched up and it was uncomfortable. Bottom line: it's worth a try. If you're really desperate, I don't think [$] is too high to see how it works for you.

To put it very simply this pillow did not work for me. It was cool, but the coolness was gone in a matter of minutes. It was a waste of money and I threw it away.

The Chillow works best if you don't use it all night, or only as needed. When I slept in one time, it heated up as the heat came on, and became uncomfortable. The next time I slept in, I used it only after the heat came on, rather than all night. In that case, it cooled me down and I was able to sleep longer.
I recently started hearing about competing products, and I'm not sure this is the best. That said, this is a pretty cool product.

The shipping was very fast and I haven't used but heard good things about it so my friend had been wanting one so bought her one and my other friend one. The price was great here.

I used the pillow to keep my face and head cool. Then the cat placed one or two pin holes in the pillow and I woke up in a pool of water

The Chillo helps with my hot flashes for a while, but it eventually absorbs my body heat and is not effective. However, after about 30 minutes, it has done it's job so I can take it off. I use it often!

I used to be one of those people that were freezing all the time, but after reaching my 30's I started running hot, and would often wake up with night sweats. It hasn't helped that we own a Temperpedic mattress (which tend to get hot) and my husband insists on sleeping with all the windows closed. I stumbled across this product on drugstore.com and thought I'd give it a try. It is wonderful!! I actually lay on it so it covers from my lower back to my neck, instead of using it in my pillow. I stay comfortable now and don't wake up sweating, and it's the perfect cool temperature, not too cold like an ice pack would be. Great product and solution for me!
