I have a keloid scar on my chest that is as wide as pencil and as long as your two front teeth. I've been using this for at least 8 years because my scar is scar tissue that continues to grow. It's becoming flatter and smoother. I can't live without this product until my scar is gone. It no longer hurts. It's no longer red. I use it daily. Cut to the size of your scar and apply. Wash it with soap and water daily. VS Most Liked Negative Review it's a sad, sad, day... Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: I was attacked by a dog and got a huge bite on my forearm. In fact, the dog had my skin in his mouth tugging and pulling back on it, and his teeth went through my skin. When I went to the ER the nurse irrigated it with saline and it gushed out from the other side of the hole. She said there would be a permanent scar. For the first few weeks the scar was horrible looking. So I went to Walmart and found the Curad scar therapy to help heal the scar. At first it was dark and raised. Today the scar is nonapparent because of the Curad. With continued use and patience this product works.

Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: I've been using this for a few weeks on 2 keloid scars. The improvement is remarkable. The smaller scar is now flat with my skin and quite light. The larger scar has lightened and is less raised. I'm so happy I tried this product. One tip - when cutting the strip, larger pieces stick better. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? By B from Palm City, Fl Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: Several years ago I tried Curad Scar Therapy and it was great, but that was before it became new and improved. When I went to buy it again, years later for another scar, I was so disappointed to find it was not available any more. I had no choice but to buy another brand by Dr. Blaine's which was horrible. There was no tape and you had to reuse the same pad. It was gross. The reason I mention this is because, I fear the so-called new and improved Curad will be the same as Dr. Blaine's brand, a waste. However, I was going to give it a try, but after reading it's reviews I'm even more fearful. The real reason I'm writing this is to tell CURAD to PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD SCAR THERAPY!! IT WORKED! WHY CHANGE A GOOD THING?!?

Cons Best Uses Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: The second day I used a pad, I saw and felt the new scar staring to get soft. I use a pad round the clock and change it daily, massaging the scar for about 5 minutes between pad changes. It's been about 2 weeks now since I started using the pads and the scar is almost totally soft and has faded quite a bit. I'll continue to use the Curad pads for at least a month till I return to my doctor. I'm very impressed! I don't know how these work, but they definitely do the trick. One note, I tried putting part of a pad on an old carpal tunnel scar, but it didn't stick to the palm of my hand very well. Other areas of the body, they stick perfectly!

Best Uses Comments about Curad Scar Therapy, Silicone Pads, 21 ea: Hello, AllI usually never write any comments, but this time I decided to write one. I've been using the Curad Silicone Pads for two years on my scar after my fall. It was given to me by my friend to try and she had just a few left. Surprisingly they worked, [...] My impressions, considering I've tried everything on the market out there for scar treatment and also used them (the old version of Curad) for two years:They are PAPER-THIN (yes, they are less conspicuous than the old version but because of that they are REALLY HARD TO SEPARATE from the paper they are glued on, hard to see)The main thing: I don't know how they expect them to be worn for 12 hours straight but these ones DIDN'T STAY PUT even over night. I found it in my bed in the morning...let alone showering with it or something like that...That's the main thing. They need to STAY PUT, so that they form a natural barrier between the outside and your skin that promotes healing...Anyway, I've already called the company and complained..They are looking into that, I filled the appropriate form and requested them to make the old ones, with the same quality. You, guys, need to do the same!!! Otherwise, how would they know, that we are not happy with the product? Thank you.
