I'M NOT LOOKING FOR MUCH IN A SHAMPOO, AND THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST SHAMPOO THAT I HAVE EVER TRIED. I FIND THAT MY HAIR FEELS AS THOUGH IT IS DIRTY, AND TANGLES EASY WHEN USING THIS SHAMPOO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. I WILL NOT FINISH THE BOTTLE.

A drop of lather splashed into my eye today and caused severe pain. I rinsed and rinsed with the shower water but it didn't help - I was in agony! And I don't mean the ordinary sting one gets from getting soap in the eyes, this felt like someone was sticking a needle in my eye. I got out of the shower and flushed it with eye wash, which finally eased the pain. The eye is still uncomfortable and it's been about an hour now. I've got more than half a bottle left, but I'll never use it again.

This product and conditioner works to stop the fungus itch on my scalp.
Not available in Canada, I order it and have it delivered to a friend in Minnesota and then I pick it up from him.
Worth the extra work.

I had received several samples of this produce clearly stating it was sulfate free as I have a brazilian blowout and can only use sulfate free products. I ordered the full size shampoo and conditioner and notices my hair was looking terrible after using it. I looked at the ingredients and there ARE sulfates in it. Not sure why they would send me samples stating sulfate free when they only carry the ones with sulfates. VERY angry!!

First of all I am a guy. I got my first try with this shampoo at my Mother In Law's place. I liked it. It made my scalp tingle a little and felt good and smelled good. My hair came out very clean feeling and without residue. Here is the great part. As I guy who has armpit hair and b/o it is a challenge to get rid of that after just using soap. I have tried several types of soap and many shampoos in an effort to remove the b/o and deodorant residue after a long day. Usually it comes off on the towel which then becomes to smelly to use after a few days and has my wife complaining. Strangely, I have found that deodorant and anti-perspirant are not broken up and dissolved like dirts and oils. In fact it seems that nothing will touch the stuff...except for this shampoo. After using this shampoo in the pits and letting it sit for a minute while I wash my hair, it gets rid of all the smell and the residue. My towel no longer smells like it did and the pit hair feels clean. I know this review is frank and to the point but someone has to say it. I am not a girly man but a man's man that likes sports and works all day with tools and gets dirty. But for those women out there who might have similar concerns about their man's b/o and smelly towels, give this a try.

I like the price, the sleek bottle, the gentle scent. It leaves my hair looking healthy. I have been using it for the last 3 weeks and now I decided to stop. I have oily scalp and I wash my hair in the morning, this product makes my hair feel and smell dirty by the evening. I also noticed increased amount of shedding. I think this comes from the amount of oil build up and dandruff that does seem to increase with I used this shampoo. It does contain SLS which I did not expect with "natural product".

This is review is based on the shampoo and conditioner as a pair, as per my experience with a sample packet.

I agree with the other reviews that the shampoo doesn't lather well and the conditioner is very light - far more so than we tend to see or expect. Personally I prefer a less lathery shampoo as I know they are more natural and less irritating to my sensitive...everything. The thin conditioner I was nervous about though, as my hair can be a bit difficult on some days. Reservations aside, I had a mere sample packet, I was still searching for my perfect hair care regimen, and I had nowhere to be that day if my hair turned out horrible. But I have never been more impressed.

I have ridiculously thick (albeit lightly layered) long-ish (10" ponytail) hair that likes to lean towards a wave. I far prefer to air dry, and depending on the day this "wave" often over-manifests into an every-which-way mess that makes it look like I don't know what a hair brush is, or under-manifests into largely straight hair with a few oddly placed bumps and bulges and a notable amount of frizz. Either way, I have more than my share of ponytail days.

The tiny amount contained in this sample packet - which has never before with any other product been nearly enough - provided incredible results after being carefully distributed. Even with no lather the shampoo cleaned well, and the conditioner rinsed out easily and cleanly. After showering, as per my usual routine, I gently towel dried, combed, and parted my hair, then lightly misted with my favorite wave spray. However this turned into the best hair day I've ever had in my life! My hair dried soft, shiny, and frizz-free, and the waves were lovely and beautifully defined. I got another sample packet 2 weeks later and wanted to try again (in case I was just having a really really good hair day) and had the same results, so now I'm stocking up!

As for the fragrance, this is going to depend on your personal tastes. I love it, but I also buy natural products almost exclusively and am used to the natural fragrances that go with them. It is not a fake rosemary mint smell like the larger brands you'll find at the local discount store (which I think smell more like foot cream than anything else). Its is a fresh, natural, very herbal fragrance - literally like freshly crushed rosemary and mint leaves from the garden. I love it, as does my husband, who is happy he no longer has to buy his own separate shampoo and conditioner to keep away the 'girly' smells.

This shampoo works just like the high priced shampoos and is affordable. I am VERY fussy about my hair and will pay for the higher priced "salon" hair products. I [...]decided to try this shampoo and conditioner. There was NO difference between the salon products I had been using and the De-luxe shampoo and conditioner. I bought the rosemary mint and it smells yummy! Now, I love, love, love de-luxe products and wouldn't go back to the other salon produces! Wow! I sound like a commercial! :D
