too expensive . especially if you needed to buy many of them . otherwise it's a excellent item . accept no cheap imitations . buy one for sure !!! you definitely won't be sorry . it's well worth the high cost of the item . it will often prevent burning your skin if used properly . tell all of your family and friends to buy at least 2 of them .

I really wanted this to work, but it doesn't. At temperatures of 375 I can only hold a pan for about 10 seconds before I start to feel the heat, maybe 20 seconds before I start to feel the burn.

I use the Ove Glove with everyday cooking, grilling and camping.

There is no worry that the part of your hand will be burned as the potholder sliped. For grilling I have burned holes in the ends of reguarl ovenmits - not so with the Ove Glove.
We do a lot of cooking over the campfire so at the last minute I threw them to use on our camping trip - Best thing I ever did. We are now going to buy another pair. One for home use and one to keep with camping gear.

I love these gloves. I use them every time I cook. The only thing that could make them better is if they were longer - to cover part of your forearm to protect it from the oven rack.

between use & cleaning i have been wearing out hot pads regularly. this protects better and has signs it will last much longer. it is also easy to clean.
